8/27 & 8/28 - Married Couples' Retreat - We are planning an overnight Married Couples' Retreat for Friday & Saturday, August 27th & 28th. Our speakers will be Bro. Roy & Mrs. JoJo Moffitt. We will be spending the evening at the Hampton in Indianapolis. The cost will be $130 per couple plus your Saturday lunch. This will be a fun, refreshing time for you and your spouse. Make plans now to attend. The deadline for registering to attend is August 1st. There is a sign-up sheet on the back table so we know how many rooms to reserve. If you have any questions, please see Pastor or Mrs. Saylor.
Back To School - We would like to give each child a sack of Back-to-School supplies on Sunday, August 15th. If you would like to bring some supplies by August 11th, it would be much appreciated.
8/1 - Baptist "Take-Over" - Join us Sunday after the evening service as we "take-over" A&W/Long John Silvers. This is a great time for food and fellowship.
7/31 - Church Picnic - Mark your calenders now and plan to be at our annual church picnic. It will be held at Glen Miller Park, Pavilion #10, from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. Bring enough food for your family and a few others. If you have an outdoor game, bring it along. Picnics are always full of fun, food, and fellowship!
7/26 - 7/29 - Vacation Bible School - Make plans now to join us each evening for Vacation Bible School. We need your help by bringing in bags of individually wrapped candies. The more bags of candies we can get, the better. These will be used during our VBS for games and prizes.
7/16 & 7/17 - Shopping Trip - Ladies, plan to join us on Friday & Saturday, July 16th & 17th, for a Ladies' Shopping Trip. We will be spending the night and going shopping in Florence, KY. We will plan to leave the church at 5:00pm on Friday evening. There is a sign-up sheet on the back table to give us an idea of how many ladies will be going.
7/11 - Married Couples' Class - We will begin a married couples' class on Sunday, July 11th. This class will be for any couple married of 10 years or less. Jonathan Saylor will be the teacher for this class. If you have any questions, you can see Jonathan or Stephanie Saylor.
7/4 - Baptist "Take-Over" - Join us Sunday after the evening service for our Baptist "Take-Over". We will be eating at Cracker Barrel. This is a great time for food and fellowship.
6/20 - Ugly Tie Contest - We want all the men to wear their ugliest tie for our "Ugly Tie" contest for Father's Day on Sunday, June 20th. Men, have your family help you pick out your ugliest tie to wear on that Sunday. The winner of the contest will receive a gift certificate to JC Penney's.
6/14 - Ladies' Fellowship Meeting - Join us Monday evening at 7:00pm for our monthly Ladies' Fellowship Meeting. Our speaker will be Mrs. Tiffany Noth, activity by Mrs. Sherry Eubanks, and refreshments by Mrs. Stephanie & Brittany Mundhenk.
6/11 - Red's Baseball Game - Join us Friday, June 11th as we travel to a Red's Baseball Game. We will be leaving the church at 5:00 pm and the game starts at 7:10 pm. If you have signed up to go, please see Mrs. Saylor by Sunday, June 6th, to pay for your tickets.
6/6 - Baptist "Take-Over" - Make plans now to join us after the Sunday evening service at Frisch's Restaurant for our Baptist "Take-Over". This is a great time for food and fellowship.
6/6 - Graduation/Promotion Sunday - We will be promoting within our Sunday School classes. We will also recognize our graduating seniors: Andrea King and Brittany Mundhenk, both graduating from Richmond High School.
6/5 - Men's Prayer Breakfast - Men, join us at Carver's Restaurant on Saturday, June 5th, at 9:00 am, for our Men's Prayer Breakfast and fellowship planning for the year.
5/10 - Mother/Daughter Banquet - Our Mother/Daughter Banquet is scheduled for Monday, May 10th. We will meet at the MCL Cafeteria at 6:00pm. Please sign-up on the sheet on the back table to let us know how many will be attending.
"A Ticket To Adventure" - Our Spring Program begins April 12th, and goes through Sunday, May 9th. The adult who brings the most adult visitors for the next 4 weeks, will get their choice of 1 of the 3 prizes: (1) 2 tickets to a Red's Baseball Game, (2) 2 Tickets to Kings Island, or (3) 2 Tickets on an adventure with Pastor & Mrs. Saylor. All prizes also include $100 spending money!
4/28 - 5/2 - Mission Conference - Our Mission Conference is Wednesday, April 28th through Sunday, May 2nd. Make plans now to be here every evening. If you can help us out by providing one of the meals during this time, please sign up on the sheet on the back table.
4/12 - Ladies' Fellowship - Ladies, bring a friend and join us April 12th, at 7:00 pm for our Ladies' Fellowship. Our speaker will be Mrs. Sherry Eubanks, activity by Mrs. Sue Sanders, and the refreshments by Aunt Faye. It's a great way to get to know the RBC ladies while having a great time!
Wednesday Evening Series - Pastor has started a series of studies on Christian Growth on Wednesday evenings. Worksheets will be given out for each study. Come and learn more about the Christian Growth.
4/4 - Easter Egg Hunt - We will be having an Easter egg hunt for all the children that come on Easter Sunday. If you would like to help, please bring in a bag of individually wrapped candies to put in the eggs before Wed., March 31.
4/4 - "I Love My Church" - We will be receiving an "I Love My Church" Easter offering to show our love to the Lord.
3/7 - Baptist "Take-Over" - Join us Sunday after the evening service at Long John Silvers/A&W for our Baptist "Take-Over". This is a great time for food and fellowship.
Change Offering - We will be receiving a "Change Offering" to help with the cost of the winter months.
2/12/2010 - Adult Valentine Party - Join us for our Adult Valentine's Party on Friday, February 12th, at 6:30 pm at Carver's Restaurant on Chester Blvd. We are sure you will have a great time! There is a sign-up sheet on the back table to give us an idea of how many will be joining us.

2/7/2010 - Baptist "Take-Over" - Join us Sunday after the evening service at Arby's on National Rd. East as we "take-over" the restaurant. If you are over 60 years old, see Preacher and your meal will be provided for you.
1/30/2010 - Men's Prayer Breakfast - We will be having a Men's Prayer Breakfast on Saturday, January 30. Join us at McDonald's on US 40 & 18th Street at 8:30 am.
Offering Envelopes - Offering envelopes for 2010 are on the back table. If you do not have a set and would like one, please see Mrs. Sheila Smith or Mrs. Debbie Saylor. Tithing records for 2009 are also available on the back table.
1/15/2010 - Progressive Dinner - We are planning a "Progressive Dinner" for Friday, January 15, 2010. Please be at the church by 6:30pm. There is a sign-up sheet on the back table to give us an idea of how many are going. This is a good time to bring a friend.

1/03/2010 - "Baptist Take-Over" - We will be having our "Baptist Take-Over" Sunday evening after service at KFC/Taco Bell. This is a great time for food and fellowship.
Ladies' Fellowship - Ladies, if you are interested in being part of our "Secret Pal", please see Mrs. Saylor. Remember that it is nice to know someone is thinking and praying for you. You can be a blessing to someone as well as being blessed!
12/20/2009 - Christmas Stockings - We would like to give each child that comes to Sunday School on Sunday, December 20th, a Christmas stocking. We need your help in providing small gifts, candy, etc. to put into these stockings. We will need the fillers by this Wed., Dec. 16th. If you have any questions, please see Bro. Ryan or Stephanie Mundhenk.
12/11/2009 - Adult Christmas Party - Our Adult Christmas Party is scheduled for Friday, December 11, 2009 at 6:30pm. We will meet at Carver's Restaurant on Chester Blvd. If you would like to participate in the gift exchange, ladies bring a lady's gift and men bring a man's gift of a cost around $5.00. This is a great time for fellowship! Bring a friend and join us. There is a sign-up sheet on the back table so we will have some idea of how many will be coming.

New Bus - Last Sunday, many of you pledged to give money to buy a newer church bus. If you did not pledge, but would like to give towards the new bus, please put your money in an envelope an mark it "Bus". We would like to have the money pledged by Sunday, December 6th.
11/21/2009 - Ladies' Shopping Trip - We are planning a Ladies' Shopping Trip for Saturday, November 21st. If you are interested in going with us, please sign up on the sheet on the back table. We would also like to know if you would be interested in spending that Friday night in a motel and shopping all day Saturday. See Dana Blevins for any questions.

11/01/2009 - Anniversary Sunday - Sunday, November 1st, we will celebrate Pastor Saylor's 2nd year as being Pastor of the Richmond Baptist Church. Bro. Scott Gray and a men's tour group from Hyles-Anderson College will be our guests for that day. At 2:00pm we will have eating on the grounds and then be back for an early evening service at 4:00pm. Make plans now to join us.
10/4/2009 - 11/1/2009 - Harvest Days" - Our Fall Program begins Sunday, October 4th and will go through Sunday, November 1st. Each week, every child attending will receive something for being here. October 4th is our "Kick-Off" Sunday and we will be giving a football to every child in Sunday School. Next week, every child will receive Candy Corn. For our adults each week, the adult with the most visitors for that Sunday will receive a gift card to a restaurant...but, there will also be a Grand Prize for the adult with the most total visitors for the entire Fall Program..."2x2x2 (2 people, 2 nights in a motel, $200 spending money--you choose your own destination). To win this Grand Prize, you must have brought 10 or more adult visitors to Sunday School or Church Service from 10/4 - 11/1.
10/21/2009 - "Southern Grace" - Ladies, make plans now to go with us to the Ladies' Spectacular in Hammond, IN on October 21-23. The cost is $65 (if paid by 9/21) plus motel and food. If you are interested in going, please see Mrs. Debbie Saylor. There are registration forms on the back table.

8/19/2009 - "B.A.C" Wednesday - Join us this Wednesday evening for "B.A.C" (Bowling After Church). Cost is $1.00 per game and shoe rental at the Do-Ri-Me Bowling Lanes on US 40 in Centerville.
8/16/2009 - Back -to-School Sunday - We are planning a Back-to-School Sunday on August 16th for all of our Sunday School children. Please help us out and bring in school supplies before Wed., Aug. 12th, for us to give to each child that comes to church on Back-to-School Sunday.

6/20/2009 - Take me out to the ballgame - Join us Saturday, June 20th as we travel to Cincinnati together for the Cincinnati Red's vs. Chicago White Sox baseball game. See Mrs. Saylor to purchase your ticket while they last. Tickets are $28 and include all-you-can-eat hot dogs, popcorn, peanuts, and soft-drinks. The bus will be leaving from the church at 4:00pm.

6/15/2009 - Songs of Praise - Ladies' Tour Group from Hyles-Anderson College will be here on Monday, June 15th, at 7:00pm. This special service will be held instead of the Wednesday, June 17th service which is cancelled. Normal services will resume the following week.
